Why Dense Fabric Needs a Different Mode
Hoodies and sweatshirts are usually sewn from fleece and blend knits around 280–400 g/m². That base holds print well but needs correct temperature and press time. Too weak a mode gives poor adhesion; too harsh — risk of a stiff layer or deformation. We tune the process to each fabric batch so print lives in wear, not only right after the press. Different fleece lots may need slightly different settings — so a batch test is not a formality.
Working Print Zones on Hoodies
Classic — A4 chest for a logo. A3 back — for large prints and slogans. Sleeves are used for branding or numbers. On kangaroo-pocket models we place art above the pocket, otherwise part goes into the seam. The hood can take a small mark on the nape, but the zone is limited. Correct layout matters as much as ink choice. Composition above the pocket with hood clearance looks tighter than max area at any cost. This matters especially when the order spans several sizes and fabric colors.
Which Technology to Put on Fleece
Screen is a strong choice for runs from 10 with a simple design. DTF — for photos, gradients, and small batches from 1 pc. Puff and foil add premium to limited merch. Vinyl is handy for names and numbers on athletic hoodies. We often combine methods on one garment: e.g. vinyl on the sleeve and DTF on the chest. Garment Color and Print Readability

Check contrast on dark fleece at real size preview, not only a tiny mockup. Fix that in writing before paying for the run.
