Puff print: specialty ink foams when heated — soft raised texture on fabric.
Puff print is screen printing with specialty puff ink. Under heat on a flash dryer or tunnel the ink expands and lifts about 1–2 mm above the fabric — a soft, tactile relief that reads premium on tees and hoodies. It suits bold logos, lettering, silhouettes and graphics with fairly simple outlines.
Because it is screen-based, each colour needs its own stencil — batches from roughly 30 pieces are most economical; minimum orders typically start around 10 units. Works on cotton crews, hoodies and blended fabrics. Palette covers classic bases (black, white, red, blue) plus specials such as gold, silver and neon.
In Tashkent puff is a great upgrade from flat ink when you want merch, corporate gear or limited drops to feel different. Pair puff with screen or DTF: keep the main design flat and puff only key elements. Foam prints survive 40+ washes inside-out at ~30 °C when cared for — the lift stays without collapsing.
