Where the mark sits
The bib, centred or just above the pocket if the pocket does not cut the picture. The bottom of an apron gets dirty faster and bends on the counter, so the mark does not go there. The size should read from the till, not across the whole chest: a wide print runs onto the straps and cracks on the seam.
A matching shift
Several aprons with one mark in one or two colours are screen printing, if there are enough pieces for a screen to make sense, roughly from ten. Ink in cotton takes washing better than a shiny finish. A repeat for a new hire is the same file.
A short run and a colour mark
Two or three aprons, or a logo with several colours and a thin outline, are closer to DTF. A stencil for three pieces is usually not made. Film on an apron should lie on a flat bib, not on a fold that is knotted every day.
Aprons are not stock
We do not keep blank aprons on the shelf. Tees and polos are there. An apron is brought by you or bought elsewhere and brought for the print. Better to say that at the start than to wait for a "black apron off the shelf".
Grease and washing
An apron is washed often, sometimes after a soak. Bleach does not go on the mark. An iron on the print is not needed. If the kitchen washes at a high temperature every day, write that. The setting differs from a tee worn at the weekend.
How to order
A photo of the apron or the apron itself, the mark file, how many pieces. Telegram @dkretov, +998 90 349 03 64. We say screen or DTF before the run. Pickup is in Sergeli.
Summary
Printing on aprons is a short mark on the bib that survives a shift. A matching run is closer to screen printing, a few pieces with a colour mark closer to DTF. We do not hand out a blank apron from stock.
