Freight, rail, or air usually delivers in about two days to Urgench bus station or a freight office. In-city delivery is via freight companies only.

About 1,000 km: freight — roughly two days, train about twenty hours, plane about an hour and a half. Urgench Airport is the region’s only major charter hub. For clothing boxes plan “1–2 days printing + about 2 days in transit.”

Al-Khwarizmi Park recalls that the mathematician was a native of the region; the central square, rail station, and airport with European charters set the logistics rhythm. Khiva with Kalta-Minor and Tash-Hauli remains the magnet, but invoices often come from Urgench contractors. Khorezm carpets differ in pattern from Bukhara’s; silk-weaving shops work nearby. Food industry and city cafés close small branded series.
